CT Health Southport hosts “Family Night”
Wednesday, May 16th, 2007Hello Everyone!! Hope all are enjoying National Nursing Home Week!!
On May 15, 2007 the Social Services Department at CHS hosted our first monthly “Family Night” highlighted by personal 10 minute massages by ‘Sabita”. Families and Residents came together for some delicious food and one on one time with the facility Department Heads. The event was a wonderful success!!The Social Services dept. plans to hold monthly meetings, the 3rd tuesday of each month. Next month’s guest speaker on June 19, 2007 will be Kim Massey, Long-Term Care Ombudsman. This event is to recognize that caring for our Residents means caring for their families as well.
